Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Elective Report from Sept. 21, 2015

Supervision 5/5 Teaching 5/5 Leisure 4/5 Translated
"May Street" is an institution for the LMU students. Talk is that one can make here super PJ/clinical elective - however, you should be early, otherwise you get a place here not so easy. The climate among the doctors (all levels) is very good and the PJlern super unlocked - so, how you don't imagine's of a University Hospital. All are very collegial and open to every question. But just as much independently explains. The lesion rotate through all departments (surgery, obstetrics, ambulance, reproductive medicine) and can at any time anything else (E.g. breast diagnosis) look. That idly sitting around on station, so almost never happened! Depending on the situation, one must take care of their own patients and also investigate. Similarly, the care is very open and also the contact to the midwives of good. There is a dedicated PJ mentor who takes care of all aspects of the students and even organized a spontaneous training on the sun terrace :-) Regular training sessions are once a week and in addition you have a learning day per week - doesn't go without saying!
