DRK Krankenhaus Alzey
Elective Report from March 1, 2016
Very pleasant four months in anaesthesia... In Alzey, there is a 1:1 in the anesthesia-care by specialists. You don't fight with other interns to specific interventions. One learns to intubate, needles, independently under supervision to lead anesthesia, etc.
Lunch was possible every day, there was nothing to pay for this, there was a food card from home that you had to pick up at the beginning of each month. In addition, there was compensation€ 300.
The friendly deal with the surgical care is much to praise... Just at the University Clinic I have need to experience quite different...
In any case, I would go again to Alzey. If it is however keen on worn anaesthesia or want to get from early until late, power, you should go at the University Hospital!
